REACH Regulation
Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), establishing a European Chemicals Agency, amending Directive 1999/45/EC and repealing Council Regulation (EEC) No 793/93 and Commission Regulation (EC) No 1488/94, as well as Council Directive 76/769/EEC and Directives 91/155/EEC, 93/67/EEC, 93/105/EC and 2000/21/EC.
With the REACH Regulation, the EU has created a single system for the registration, evaluation and authorization of chemicals. The aim of this regulation is to ensure the protection of human health and the environment. It came into force on June 1, 2007.HELUKABEL GmbH produces and markets products that are products within the meaning of the chemicals legislation. We are therefore subject to information obligations pursuant to Article 33 of the REACH Regulation if a product supplied by us contains an SVHC substance in a concentration of more than 0.1 percent by mass.
According to the REACH Regulation, HELUKABEL GmbH is considered a downstream user and is therefore not subject to the registration obligation.The list of substances of very high concern (SVHC) is generally updated once or twice a year and published on the website of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).
