EcoVadis silver medal

HELU has earned its first silver medal in the 2026 EcoVadis Sustainability Rating. The company achieved a score of 67 points in 2025, increasing to 76 points in 2026. This nine-point improvement reflects the progress we have made in sustainability management. HELU now ranks among the top 6% of companies in the cable and electrical installation materials manufacturing industry evaluated by EcoVadis.

A focus on four themes

The evaluation focuses on four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. HELU performed particularly well in sustainable procurement, ranking among the top 3% of companies in its industry evaluated by EcoVadis. This result underscores HELU’s commitment to further integrating sustainability criteria into its procurement processes.

“This silver medal is recognition for the collaborative work of many colleagues. The nine-point improvement shows that we have taken steps forward. At the same time, we see the evaluation as motivation to continue improving our efforts and to more strongly anchor sustainability in our processes,” says Katharina Lehr, Sustainability and ESG Manager at HELU.

Making improvements with goals in sight

The EcoVadis rating provides HELU with external confirmation that we are on the right track while helping guide our future efforts. The evaluation highlights the progress we have made, identifies opportunities for further improvement, and provides direction for continued development. This silver medal marks an important milestone in our sustainability journey.
