A parallel-fibre synthetic rope encased in a protective polymeric sheath, ParaFil™ has been in continuous service since 1967. It is specified for offshore infrastructure (umbilicals, riser support, and submarine power cable armouring), guy ropes for antennae and masts, overhead contact wire support for tram and light rail networks.
ParaFil™ is supplied as free-length rope or as terminated strops, precisely cut and ready for deployment. Each product is configured by selecting the right combination of core fibre and protective sheath to match the operating environment, from Arctic cold to chemical exposure to high-UV outdoor service.
