Stripping tools

A cable knife is a tool used to remove the insulation from a cable lengthwise over a long section, allowing easy access to the inner conductors.

Cable shears, cable cutters
Cable cutters are a common type of hand tool used by electrical contractors; they function similarly to regular scissors but are designed to cut wires and cables. For this reason, cable cutters are also commonly referred to as cable-cutting pliers.

What is ferrule?
A wire ferrule is a type of pin-style terminal used to prevent multi-stranded copper wires from fraying and to enhance the stability of electrical connections. This type of terminal is typically made of tin-plated copper. The tube or barrel of the ferrule is slipped over a stripped section of copper wire, then crimped tightly using a crimping tool to securely hold the wire strands together.
Currently, HELU offers three common types of ferrules: insulated ferrules, non-insulated ferrules, and twin ferrules.

What are cable clamps?
