Every custom cable begins with a conversation. We work with you to define the technical parameters and propose suitable design options. Our cable engineering team then translates those requirements into a detailed construction drawing, building on field-proven, certified components adapted to your use case.

For volume orders, a pre-production sample is manufactured and submitted for your sign-off before full-scale manufacturing starts. Because engineering and production share a single site, lead times stay short. The finished cable can also be paired with a ready-made assembly or a HELUCHAIN cable carrier system.

Timelines vary with complexity, but co-locating development and production at our Windsbach facility keeps them as short as possible. For larger runs, we first agree on technical parameters, then produce an approval sample. Once you sign off, series manufacturing begins and we commit to a firm delivery date.

There is no fixed minimum — it depends on the cable design and manufacturing setup. For highly specialized constructions the initial run may be larger to justify tooling, but we discuss feasible quantities during the project scoping stage.

Absolutely. Custom cables can be supplied as part of a complete system — pre-assembled with connectors, integrated into a HELUCHAIN drag chain, or delivered as a fully installation-ready cable assembly.

The more detail the better: intended application and environment, required conductor count and cross-sections, voltage and temperature ratings, mechanical loads (bending, torsion, tensile), any approval requirements (UL, CSA, ATEX, etc.), and desired outer diameter or space constraints.
