Opening the VIAF 2026 exhibition series, VIAF Hai Phong 2026 Exhibition took place over three days, from April 15th to 17th, at the Vietnam-Czech Friendship Labor Culture Palace. Choosing Hai Phong City - a key industrial, port, and logistics center in the North, is a strategic move by the organizers to bring the exhibition closer to key production centers.

According to the Hai Phong City Portal, the industrial manufacturing sector plays a leading role, accounting for a high proportion of the city's GRDP.
